Nella tradizione cinese, il Serpente è simbolo di trasformazione, rinascita e saggezza interiore. È l’animale che cambia pelle, lasciando andare ciò che non serve più per continuare il cammino con forza rinnovata.

 

Io sono nato nell’anno del Serpente.

E il 2025 – ancora una volta anno del Serpente – è diventato per me un punto di svolta, un incrocio di eventi che hanno segnato la mia vita e che hanno trovato una voce nelle mie canzoni.

 

Quest’anno ho festeggiato i miei 60 anni, come un doppio compleanno che si intreccia con i 18 anni di mia figlia e la laurea di mio figlio. Momenti che portano con sé orgoglio, emozione e nuove consapevolezze.

 

È anche l’anno in cui pubblico per la prima volta la mia musica. Canzoni che parlano di me, delle mie storie, dei luoghi che ho vissuto, dell’amore, dei sogni e delle cadute.

 

La copertina del mio primo album racchiude tutto questo: un uomo che cammina lungo la strada dell’Altopiano delle Cinque Miglia, con un serpente che attraversa l’asfalto. È un’immagine che unisce il mio spirito blues-rock americano ai paesaggi dell’Abruzzo, la mia terra.

I miei stivali raccontano la mia anima ribelle, il cartello lungo la strada segna il viaggio della mia vita, e il serpente rappresenta il cambiamento che mi ha accompagnato fino a qui.

 

Non ho una pronuncia perfetta in inglese, ed è giusto così: le mie canzoni portano dentro di sé la mia identità, una miscela di ballate blues, rock e country, ma con un cuore profondamente italiano.

 

L’anno del Serpente, per me, non è solo un simbolo.

È un nuovo inizio.

 

The Year of the Snake – My Journey

 

I was born in the Year of the Snake, and for me, this symbol has always represented transformation, renewal, and the strength to shed the past in order to move forward.

This year, the Year of the Snake has returned with powerful meaning: I turned 60, my son graduated, my daughter reached her 18th birthday, and for the very first time, I released my own songs—stories of life, love, and the paths I have walked.

 

On the cover of my upcoming album, you’ll see an image of a man walking along the road of the “Altopiano delle Cinque Miglia.” At his side lies the figure of a snake painted on the asphalt. That road, a real landscape from my Abruzzo, blends with the imagery of an American road, symbolizing my soul rooted in blues and rock, but also influenced by my Italian identity.

 

This mix of places, memories, and symbols is who I am:

a man walking forward, carrying with him both the grit of the blues and the warmth of his own land. Even my English, not perfect, carries the mark of where I come from—unique, authentic, true.

 

The Year of the Snake is not just a zodiac sign for me.

It is the year of change, rebirth, and celebration.

It is the beginning of a new chapter.
